Financial Consumer Agency of Canada. This is an agency that's set up to protect you, the consumer operating under two primary mandates; compliance and financial literacy. Their goal is to ensure and enforce compliance by the financial sector with federal legislation and regulations and promote greater financial literacy by informing consumers about their rights and responsibilities when dealing with financial institutions.
